University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), founded 144 years ago, is a major educational institution known worldwide for quality of research and teaching. More than 20,000 undergraduates and more than 5,000 graduates study at UNL each year.

This camp is hosted by Dr. Joseph Turner, Professor in Mechanical and Materials Engineering. The camp will also include team members from Purdue University. The camps focus will be making computational models that predict how plants build their cell walls as they grow.

The camp will take place on UNL City Campus.  More details when camp approaches.

Summer Camps: Essential Information

Commuter ONLY camp.  

Who's Eligible?

Open to students entering 6th through 8th grades.

Camp Fee

Camp fee is $60. Financial scholarships are available!

Space is limited to 20 campers.

Camp Schedule

Monday-Wednesday

8:30AM - 4:30PM

Supervision and Safety

Minimum of 1:10 teacher/counselor to student ratio. Certified faculty/teachers and experienced, trained undergraduates students/counselors.
